Terms & Disclosures

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

Welcome to the Eric the Notary website. By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and disclosures.

The information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes and to describe services available through Eric the Notary. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as legal, tax, financial, investment, or other professional advice unless specifically provided by an appropriately licensed professional acting in that capacity.

Not a Law Firm

Eric the Notary is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Information provided on this website regarding wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, beneficiary designations, probate, estate planning, or other legal topics is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing on this website creates an attorney-client relationship with Eric the Notary.

You should consult a licensed attorney regarding questions about your individual legal circumstances or whether a particular legal document or estate planning strategy is appropriate for you.

Estate Planning Document Services

Eric the Notary may provide document-related services in connection with estate planning, including facilitating the preparation, completion, execution, notarization, or delivery of certain estate planning documents.

Eric the Notary does not independently provide individualized legal advice or make legal determinations regarding which estate planning documents or strategies a person should use.

When legal advice or attorney review is appropriate, clients may be offered the opportunity to consult with an independent licensed attorney.

The availability of attorney consultation does not make Eric the Notary a law firm.

Independent Attorneys

Eric the Notary may work with, refer clients to, or facilitate consultations with independent licensed attorneys.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, any attorney participating in such a consultation is an independent legal professional and is not an employee of Eric the Notary.

Any attorney-client relationship that may be created is between the client and the attorney and is governed by the attorney’s own engagement terms.

Eric the Notary does not control an independent attorney’s legal judgment or guarantee the outcome of any legal matter.

Notary Services

A notary public is not an attorney solely by virtue of being a notary and cannot provide legal advice or select legal documents for a customer unless separately authorized by law to do so.

Notarization verifies or certifies certain aspects of a signing or document as permitted by applicable law. Notarization does not establish that a document is legally sufficient, enforceable, appropriate for your circumstances, or free from errors.

Customers are responsible for understanding the documents they sign and obtaining legal advice when necessary.

Eric the Notary reserves the right to decline a notarization when required or permitted by applicable law, including circumstances involving identification, willingness, awareness, document completeness, or other legal requirements.

Apostille and Authentication Services

Eric the Notary provides assistance with apostille and document authentication processing.

An apostille or authentication does not validate the contents of a document. It generally authenticates the origin of a qualifying public document or the authority/signature associated with it for international use.

Acceptance, processing, and issuance of an apostille or authentication are controlled by the applicable government authority.

Estimated processing and delivery times shown on this website are estimates and are not guarantees. Government processing times, holidays, document deficiencies, shipping delays, foreign-country requirements, and other circumstances outside our control may affect completion times.

Eric the Notary cannot guarantee that a foreign government, embassy, consulate, educational institution, business, or other receiving organization will accept a particular document.

Customers are responsible for determining the requirements of the country or organization receiving the document.

Life Insurance

Life insurance information provided through this website is for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of coverage, premium, policy performance, cash value, investment return, or other policy result.

Insurance products, availability, premiums, benefits, and underwriting requirements vary by carrier, product, applicant, and jurisdiction.

Coverage is not effective until an application has been approved by the applicable insurance carrier, all required conditions have been satisfied, and coverage has become effective according to the terms of the policy.

Quotes and illustrations are not insurance contracts.

Permanent life insurance products may include cash-value components. Actual policy performance may depend on the specific product, premiums paid, expenses, interest-crediting methods, index performance where applicable, withdrawals, loans, and other policy provisions.

Policy loans and withdrawals may reduce available cash value and death benefits and may have tax consequences or affect the continued viability of a policy.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as tax, investment, or financial advice. Consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding those matters.

No Guarantee of Results

Eric the Notary strives to provide accurate, reliable, and timely service. However, no specific legal, financial, insurance, governmental, apostille, or other outcome is guaranteed.

Past results, examples, testimonials, or descriptions of services should not be interpreted as guarantees of future results.

Pricing and Service Information

Prices, service descriptions, turnaround estimates, promotions, and availability displayed on this website are subject to change.

Additional charges may apply depending on the service requested, number or type of documents, travel requirements, shipping requirements, government fees, third-party fees, or other circumstances.

When applicable, the specific price and scope of service will be communicated before the service is performed.

Free Offers and Promotions

From time to time, Eric the Notary may offer complimentary documents, consultations, resources, or other promotional services.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, no purchase is necessary to receive an advertised free offer.

Free resources are subject to applicable eligibility requirements, availability, terms, and limitations.

Receiving a complimentary document or resource does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not constitute individualized legal advice.
